Naibor Camp is one of the private Kenyan owned collection of 3 contemporary and stylish properties – Main Naibor, Little Naibor and Naibor Wilderness - all situated in the heart of the main Masai Mara reserve.

This gem is a classic East African tented camp, with the ideal location, situated on the banks of the southern bank of the Talek river right in the heart of the Big 5 viewing area, you will be spoilt with fantastic wildlife right on your doorstep.

With just seven large tented suites spread out along the river, each has a private 10 foot veranda complete with day beds and private dining areas and the en suite bathrooms all have flushing toilets and safari shower, filled daily with hot water on request. The tents nestle amongst a riverine forest and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife.

The location of these camps is truly special. Situated on the south side of the Talek river – where most others are on the north – you have peaceful times away from the crowds which is very important in the main reserve! Get out early in the morning whilst others are still crossing the river.

The Camp

Naibor Camp is a stylish and contemporary tented camp in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The lounge and dining area are set beneath a large mess tent, nestled under the trees with views down to the river and the resident hippo pod! A beautiful spot to lounge during your siesta time and enjoy your surroundings in between game dives.

A short slope down takes you to the outdoor dining area fully equipped with fireplace and hammocks for a peaceful moment. Continue to the corner of camp to find the simple spa tent, perfectly set up with views to enjoy whilst you relax after any bumpy game drives!

The pale rustic wood furnishings in your tent blend perfectly to your natural surroundings, enjoy your view from the day bed on your private veranda.

Facilities

There is a full range of safari activities available, including the once-in-a-lifetime sunrise balloon safaris, bush dining and of course game drives. Bush walks can be undertaken in the nearby reserves upon request.

Dining

Using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients ensures all meals at any Naibor camp are outstanding, eaten under canvas, privately on your deck, or under the stars – expect some scrumptious meals in the bush.
