Days 1 - 4: Masai Mara

Day 1 - Arrive in Nairobi & fly to the Masai Mara

We offer a ‘meet and greet’ service on all our luxury Kenya holidays. As soon as you arrive, you are met by a Wayfairer representative and escorted through immigration, customs and baggage collection. Your driver will then transfer you to Wilson Airport, where you’ll board a light aircraft flight to the beautiful plains of the Masai Mara.  

Upon arrival to the Masai Mara you will be met by a representative and driven to your Leopard Hill Camp, enjoying an introductory game drive en-route.

Discover effortless luxury at Leopard Hill Camp, an elegant stay which celebrates the purity of the Kenya wilderness. Perhaps spend the evening by the campfire, absorbing the gentle hum of nature which so lovingly characterises the Masai Mara. 

Days 2-4 - Safari in the Masai Mara

Your Kenya safari trip has officially begun, as each refreshing morning at Leopard Hill Camp offers awe-inspiring game drives across the Masai Mara. Friendly local guides transport you from your luxury safari camp through one of the best places to visit in Kenya for wildlife spotting.

Get out your safari checklist and be prepared to encounter lions, leopards and cheetah as they bathe in Kenya’s beating sun, zebra, impala, wildebeest, elephants and even crocodiles along the riverbanks! Recount your daily sightings over a private meal with your loved one, ahead of a sky washed with apricot hues, or enjoy a communal meal with fellow wildlife enthusiasts. 

We encourage you to enhance your honeymoon itinerary with activities, like cultural visits to Masai villages, safaris on horseback or even black rhino tracking. Perhaps the camp’s sunrise hot air balloon experience appeals to your bolder side (or maybe it’s the champagne that goes with it!) 

Days 5 - 11: Zanzibar

Day 5 - Fly to Zanzibar & transfer to Baraza Resort

This morning you’ll have time to wave goodbye to your Kenya safari trip with a final game drive, before an afternoon flight to Nairobi. When you land in Nairobi, you’ll be met and driven to the international airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar. 

Upon arrival at the airport you’ll be met by a representative and driven to Baraza Resort & Spa, one of the best hotels in Zanzibar, where you will stay for the next seven nights in an Ocean-Front Villa.  

You are greeted by the Swahili-inspired exterior of your Zanzibar beach resort and the immaculate, tropical scenes which encase it. A celebrity-style, all-inclusive stay awaits you and your partner, accentuated by cultural immersion and lazy afternoons at the pool-side. A week of perfection is at your feet. 

Days 6 to 11 - Explore Zanzibar

Today you can relax and enjoy your first full day in tropical paradise. Spend your time lounging on the soft sands of the best beaches in Zanzibar, whilst cocktails are brought to your sun lounger by amenable butlers. To pair with the excellent facilities at Baraza Resort & Spa, historic towns and culturally rich islands anticipate you on an insightful Zanzibar tour.  

Visit Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a former spice trading port. The town homes a melting pot of cultural influences found in its architecture and cuisine. Explore its winding alleyways filled with colourful bazaars, before stopping at evocative historic landmarks, like the Portuguese Fort and the Old Slave Market. 

You can also visit Prison Island, Mnarani Turtle Sanctuary, and Jozani Forest which is home to the adorable Red Colobus Monkey. Exhilarating reef and dolphin safaris are to be had amidst the enticing coastal waters of Zanzibar. Or, if you wish to keep your feet on the ground, perhaps a cultural tour of the local villages.  

There are endless possibilities on this exciting East African island. 

Day 12: Depart from Zanzibar

Day 12 - Depart from Zanzibar

After breakfast, you’ll check-out of your luxury beach resort and will be driven to the airport for your bittersweet flight home.
