Tarangire Treetops is the ultimate atmospheric safari lodge which is located on the border of the Tarangire National Park.
After a three hour game drive from Kuro airstrip, or a four hour drive from Kilimanjaro airport, you will find yourself arriving to a stunning main lodge which is set around a stunning thousand year old baobab tree.
The 20 guest rooms have that treetop adventure feel, with elevated positions providing views over the unique landscape of marula and baobab trees. This area is home to an array of fascinating game, and it is particularly known for being home to some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa.
The camp boasts some of the largest bedrooms in any lodge in East Africa, with 65 square meters of floor space.
Enjoy the luxury facilities of a double shower in your en-suite bathroom, while the open room design with just a mosquito net separating you from your own large veranda enhances the tree house feel.

The lodge
This medium sized lodge is home to 20 tree house guest rooms. Guests love the huge 65 square meter floor space and terrific views out to the endless and vibrant landscape. Rooms are finished in a boutique style and demonstrate fine craftsmanship.
Every room comes with an en-suite bathroom with a double shower and double vanity. The front of each room opens out on to a spacious balcony which is the perfect spot for early mornings and late evenings. In room facilities include bathrobes and slippers, an electronic safe, telephone, and laundry service. All rooms have access to 24 hour electricity too.
The main lodge area is built around a large baobab tree, which is home to a main restaurant and bar, lounge, and terrace area where views of the plains are vast and uninterrupted. Watch elephants walk below the well appointed infinity pool and deck while you relax in a sun lounger.
