The Haven River Lodge

The Haven River Lodge was designed to blend in with its surroundings and it was constructed from locally-sourced natural materials with furniture made by local craftsmen. Accommodation comprises of two luxury bandas, four luxury bungalows, two family bungalows, one family suite and a honeymoon suite, plus there’s also a camping option (all camping gear and bedding is provided). The bandas, bungalows and suites have thatched roofs which emulate traditional Uganda homes, plus they feature private bathrooms and comfortable beds, as well as conveniences including a built-in safe, USB chargers, WiFi, hammocks, mosquito nets, ceiling fans and TVs.

The lodge’s restaurant serves European-style cuisine with ‘a touch of Africa.’ An impressive breakfast is served each morning which includes freshly made cocktail juice and a platter of fresh fruits, eggs cooked to your liking, pancakes, freshly baked bread, a selection of cold meats and cheese, plus unlimited tea and coffee, whilst a set menu with a choice of starters and mains is offered at lunch and dinner times. The lodge also has a fantastic bar where you can enjoy a beer, cocktail or glass of wine drink whilst taking in the spectacular views of the River Nile.

Facilities

Facilities include a swimming pool, restaurant and bar, and WiFi. For guests staying at the campsite there are barbeque facilities and a sanitary block with individual shower and toilets.

The Haven River Lodge has a fantastic restaurant which serves a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a bar with an extensive cocktail, spirits and wine list.
