Couples, Honeymooners, Families
This lovely boutique hotel is a great luxury option if you’re looking to spend a night or two exploring Entebbe town. Nestled in the leafy suburbs of Entebbe, this is a new and stylish boutique hotel. With luxurious rooms opening onto the garden and swimming pool, this is a great option for guests looking for an intimate stay in a tranquil setting.
Entebbe city is only a few minutes away and has plenty to explore! There's shops and markets right on your doorstep and if the mood to explore strikes - head round the corner to the Botanical Gardens. The rainforest surroundings will probably remind you of something out of an old Tarzan movie. It’s also a great area to spot Colobus monkeys and birds.
Another special place is the Mabamba Swamp, where the Shoebill Stork can be easily spotted. For those looking for something more adventurous, the staff of Hotel No5 will happily help either arrange a fishing trip to Lake Victoria, an excursion to Nagamba Chimpanzee Island Sanctuary, sunset cruises or booking your green fee at Entebbe Golf Course.
Alternatively relax and make yourself at home with attentive staff – unwind beside the swimming pool, pamper yourself with a spa treatment, or work up a sweat in the hotel gym. For one of the most flavoursome dining experiences in Entebbe, carefully planned menus are paired to an international wine list, and served with pride.
Choose between luxury double, twin or your own apartment. For families or groups book the residence, your own two bedroom house with privacy and space and your own dedicated staff.
Accommodation consists of ten rooms, five of which are doubles and five twins. There is also five apartments available. All have stylish furnishings with ample space and seating area. Every room is equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, flatscreen satellite tv, tea-and-coffee station, safe, and access to Wi-Fi. Every room is an en-suite shower room. The five apartments benefit from all the features of the rooms, in addition to an open-plan kitchen and an extra storey housing an additional bedroom and a lounge.
Most of the communal facilities at No. 5 are housed in a modern building and have the same style as the guest rooms and apartments. In the lounge, comfortable sofas and chairs are set up around coffee tables. The restaurant features chic individual tables and upright chairs, and it’s adjacent to the hotel’s well-stocked bar. This space is the venue for delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and staff are happy to advise on any accompanying wines. Other facilities comprise a gym, a spa, and a spacious swimming pool!
If lying by the pool, enjoying the spa or sweating it out in the gym aren’t enough for you, Entebbe offers a range of fantastic activities. Enjoy scenic lake cruises, wander around the botanical gardens, visit the wildlife education centre (perhaps and exclusive behind the scenes tour!) Or travel to Mabamba to seek the endangered shoebill stork.
Dining is offered in the spacious main area of the hotel, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all al la carte and fantastic! Staff are great at suggesting wine parings or take advantage of the well-stocked bar. Food is locally sourced where possible and expect some fine dining whilst staying here, often with dinner on the terrace being a highlight!
Owned by the larger Uganda Exclusive Camps & Lodges this property is their newest venture and as usual they have built it to uphold the local community. With many of the staff being local and a great in-house training programme to help personnel progress.
We love to support locally owned, individual properties that stand out from the rest. This lovely hotel does this and more. With responsible tourism at the heat of the operation whilst still offering a fully luxury product.
