The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Matsuyama and serves as an excellent base for visiting local attractions, such as Matsuyamajo, one of Japan’s few remaining original castles.

The historic castle is located on the top of Katsuyama Hill which is very close to the ANA Hotel Matsuyama, and it offers visitors a bird's eye view of Matsuyama and the Seto Inland Sea.

After exploring Matsuyamajo you can visit Dogo Onsen, one of Japan's oldest and most famous hot springs, located to the east of central Matsuyama, a 10-minute train ride from the hotel.

The main attraction in Dogo Onsen is the Dogo Onsen Honkan, a wooden public bathhouse, dating from 1894.

The property

The ANA Matsuyama Hotel has 330 comfortable, air-conditioned rooms (including three suites). All rooms are ensuite and the bathrooms feature a bath, shower, hair dryer, plus complimentary toiletries.The Junior Suite is on the 8^th floor of the Main Tower, the Crown Suite is on the 11^th floor and the extremely spacious Imperial Suite is on the 12^th floor.

The hotel has three restaurants, plus a bar and a tea lounge. Located on the 6^th floor, Unkai offers a Japanese menu featuring fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea and local seasonal ingredients, and guests also have the option to sit at the counter and watch the teppanyaki chef cook Japanese beef on the grill. The elegant Province Bar serves beers, wines, spirits and cocktails, and on the first floor within the lobby area there’s a stylish tea lounge where guests can enjoy afternoon tea.
