Lanjia Lodge

Lanjia Lodge is a beautiful, peace instilling place that will inspire all those who choose to stay there. Lanjia Lodge is aptly named as Lanjia in the Hmong dialect means ‘peace’, which is what you get a strong sense of when you stay here. 

Nestled high on a hill in Chiang Rai, Lanjia Lodge is only a 30 minute drive to the Thailand-Laos border, and is close to the most fascinating parts of the lush landscape such as a Hmong and Lahu hill tribe village, spectacular hiking trails, and The Golden Triangle. 
 
This small lodge is comprised of four guest cottages, where a total of 32 people can stay at one time. It has been thoughtfully constructed in a traditional style, to complement the lush surroundings.

The uniqueness of the lodge lies in its welcoming, simple style, impressive community based tourism initiatives, and truly spectacular views.

It’s the perfect retreat for taking in the beautiful natural surroundings and traditional practices of northern Thailand.

Made up of four guest cottages with sixteen guest rooms which are constructed out of natural, sustainable materials, the lodge is harmonious with both the natural landscape and the people who stay.

The local villagers directly benefit from every aspect of the lodge. As well as employing local villagers at the lodge, the money the lodge receives goes directly to the villages, and successful initiatives have been set up to get the village children to school and university.
