The camp offers classic Okavango-style tented accommodation of tented rooms on raised wooden decks with stunning views of the delta and Maboa Island. The setting is peaceful and relaxed - perfect for that downtime in between exciting game drives.

Due to its border with the Moremi Game Reserve (and the lack of fencing), wildlife roams freely. The confluence of waterways, open plains, forested islands and the Mopane woodlands provide a recipe for a range of interesting habitats and sightings.

Activities on offer include morning, afternoon and evening game drives, walking safaris through the woodlands of Maboa Island, and seasonal water activities such as mokoro trips (traditional canoe safari – season dependent).

The camp’s focus on being ecologically sensitive and operating as a solar-run camp helps to honour and preserve the World Heritage Site of the Okavango Delta.

The Camp

4 Rivers offers classic Okovango-style accommodation, with tented rooms on raised wooden decks with lovely views of the Delta. There are nine spacious tented suites tucked into an ancient forest, including a family room. Children from six years old are welcome at the camp. With a maximum of 20 guests in the camp at any one time, 4 Rivers ensures a quiet safari experience. Whilst the facilities and dining are of a high standard, the luxurious reputation of Kwando Safaris (the company that owns 4 Rivers) is focused on prime location and superb guiding.

Facilities

Communal areas of the camp include a comfortable dining space, a lounge and a bar area. Especially wonderful for the summer months, is the swimming pool available for guests to use.

Dining

All meals are included in your stay, with high-quality ingredients and service. Meals are typically served communally, which leads to interesting conversations and stories.
