This solar powered camp rests under a canopy of mature sausage trees, with tents that face open plains around either the impressive Luangwa River or spectacular game-rich lagoons. Here you are likely to find plenty of giraffes, waterbucks and elephants wandering and grazing around this amazing location.
Activities include game drives in the South Luangwa National Park, as well as bush walks around the camp area and along the river banks. Encounter elephants, giraffes, waterbuck and perhaps the relatively rare roan antelope, as well as lions, leopards and wild dogs. Short night drives before dinner are also available.
Each tent also has its own private sleep out, safely connected to the tent for convenient access day and night. Spend a night on the plush star beds, surrounded only by the sights and sounds of the African bush.
Dining at the Three Rivers Camp is a unique and breath-taking experience. Dinners are normally served under the stars or in an open-air dining area that is situated on the banks of the river. Hippos and crocodiles frequent the river and banks, a safe distance from the guests, so have your cameras at the ready whenever and wherever you are in camp. There is a bar area too which is a favourite for the guests to sit back and relax while viewing the wildlife and large bird population in the area with a cocktail in hand.

The camp
Three Rivers Camp is intimate in size and feel and has just five spacious and elegant tents. Each tent is built up on platforms to provide views over the surrounding landscape. The tents are elegantly decorated with uncluttered furnishings and use of natural materials to create a tranquil place for you to rest and reflect while in camp.
The large gauzed windows allow for uninterrupted views over the landscape and draped mosquito nets ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. Each tent has an ensuite bathroom offering luxurious indoor and outdoor showers as well as double sinks and a flushing loo. Each tent has its own private deck too so you can enjoy a private sundowner or a spot of bird or wildlife watching.
