One of four lodges on the private Ongava Game Reserve, along with Anderssons at Ongava, adjacent to Etosha National Park, this is an intimate, private and exclusive lodge and it is most luxurious offering within the reserve.

Little Ongava consists of just three luxury villas, each with their own plunge pool, outdoor gazebo and sweeping safari views over a local watering hole.

The suites have been designed for maximum privacy and comfort, and built to fit into nature. From the rooms, wooden walkways hugging rocks take guests to the main lodge, which has a dining room, viewing deck and library complete with a fireplace for cool evenings.

Little Ongava even has a small chapel church that hosts weddings and small events.

Little Ongava sits on a hill and overlooks the private Ongava game reserve neighbouring Etosha National Park. From all the rooms and the main lodge, wildlife can be seen, and there is a watering hole nearby which regularly sees wildlife action.

The lodge

While Little Ongava only has three suites, none of them classify as ‘small’. Each of the stylish rooms is packed with amenities and the little added touches to make your stay unforgettable. The suites are made from stone and thatch to blend in with nature and the rooms are separated by sliding doors. There is a large bedroom, with a separate dressing room, a lounge area with armchairs and a fireplace. The bathroom features a freestanding bathtub next to a window with views out over the plains, his and hers sinks and both an indoor and outdoor shower. Then there is the generous sized deck balcony complete with a private infinity pool and incredible views.

Meals can be served on the deck or in the sitting area for those who want even more privacy or guests can go to the main lodge for candlelit dinners and a chance to share stories over a sundowner.
