Chobe Water Villas - A focus on privacy & exclusivity

Cost Per Night
Perfect For

Adults, Couples & Honeymoons

Chobe Water Villas offer guests the best of both worlds; remote enough to experience the untamed wilderness of the Caprivi strip, yet nestled against the border of Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

With Victoria Falls a two hour drive away, and Chobe National Park a stone's throw away from the villas, Chobe Water Villas' location in Namibia means there is also easy access to the incredibly diverse private conservancies in the Caprivi strip.

The beautiful rooms at Chobe Water Villas all have panoramic views over Chobe National Park and Sedudu island, and it’s not uncommon to spot wildlife from the rounded wooden terraces.

Private game drives on Sedudu island can be arranged, followed by a romantic sunset river cruise along the magnificent river.

Chobe Water Villas focuses on privacy and exclusivity, and their 16 waterfront villas are in high demand. The luxurious suites are spacious and designed to maximise views of nature.

Floor to ceiling windows allow guests to enjoy the river view from their private lounge area or plush beds, and the back terrace area is the perfect spot to see spectacular African sunsets.

Chobe Water Villas also has a sleek infinity pool and seating areas right on the river banks around open fires; perfect for sharing safari adventures. For those looking for luxury and a chance to see everything the region has to offer, Chobe Water Villas are the perfect travel base.

The property

Each of the raised Chobe Water Villas is a spacious 85 sqm with an equally generous bathroom and breath-taking 180 degree views of the Caprivi strip and Chobe National Park. All the villas have the same layout, with front balconies showcasing the riverside, and back terraces perfectly lined up to watch daily sunsets with a cocktail in hand. The front terrace balcony has two sun loungers set up for safari viewing from your villa, and the balcony is separated from the room by a floor to ceiling glass door, allowing guests to open up the whole villa to nature, or watch it from the comfort of the open plan bedroom.

Stylishly decorated in subtle safari tones and traditional Namibian artwork, the villas are relaxing and spacious, with raised ceilings covered in bamboo, and wooden furniture bringing nature in from the outside. Bathrooms have a freestanding deep bathtub and separate shower and toilet rooms. The main lodge area has ample relaxing space; an indoor library lounge, bar, intimate restaurant, infinity pool and a range of daybeds and conversation bomas for socialising around an open fire.

Facilities

An infinity swimming pool, main lodge with a range of seating areas for every occasion and a library with a tea & coffee butler station.

Dining

A 36-seat restaurant with an attached cocktail bar, serving African and European fusion dishes, with locally sourced Namibian beef and venison.
