Mombo is the “Place of Plenty,” from the vast landscapes of the Moremi Game Reserve to high concentrations of safari favourites roaming the plains of the private reserve. Not to mention the responsible luxury provided by Chief’s Island’s Mombo Camp.

The Mombo wildlife area is also known for the presence of black and white rhinos, the most elusive of Africa’s Big Five. The reintroduction of rhinos to this region (the only rhino found in the Okavango Delta) is a widely-celebrated conservation success story, and you might just be lucky enough to spot them out on the plains with the Rhino Monitoring Team.
Back at camp, take a dip in the camp’s swimming pool and unwind in your luxury tented accommodation, complete with an opulent bathtub and spacious lounge facilities. With all the comforts of a high-end hotel, you’ll have to remind yourself just how far you are out in the wild.
Are muscles feeling a little stiff after a few days of game drives? Try “Workouts in the Wilderness” – yoga and workouts arranged at the camp’s gym or poolside, complete with bush views. Alternatively, swap the “African massage” of your safari jeep for an actual massage at Mombo’s in-house spa.
