Only for the daring! This stay is seriously awesome, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Situated right in between Cusco and Machu Picchu in the Sacred Valley, the lodge is accessed via the daunting rockface or an intrepid trek through ziplines.
Your experience begins at the base of the mountain as you brace yourself to commit to a climb the ferrata route towards Skylodge 400 meters up. Geared up with a hardness and hardhat, arriving at the base for the evening is rewarding and utterly jaw-droppingly beautiful.
Accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced guides, all your night’s supplies are transported up with you. The sleeping pods are separate to the dining area, so more climbing is required to get from one to another, keeping the adrenaline flowing.
Enjoy a delicious, organic dinner in the dining room as the sun sets over the valley. Watch the space change colour with the surroundings, as these domes are almost entirely transparent. Levitating above the Sacred Valley is an otherworldly experience, and one you’ll never forget.
As the sky turns dark, you’ll be greeted into the most spectacular starlit night. Feel free to draw the blinds and sleep looking towards the magic overhead. Breakfast is served either in the dining room or outside on a plateau in the morning. And, if you think the adventure is over then be warned, the only way back to base is by speeding zipline.

The Suites
The Skylodge Adventure Suites are suspended 400 meters above the valley, and made of airspace aluminium and weather resistant polycarbonate. The whole lodge is composed of three capsule Suites, with a maximum capacity of just 8 people. It truly is an exclusive experience. Despite the daring concept, the lodge feels incredibly safe up this high. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable inside, and whilst the interior is minimalistic the views are inescapable. Draw the curtains all night long and sleep under the stars.
Facilities
What this lodge lacks in the way of grounds, spa, and room service it makes up for in its incredible, awe-inspiring concept. Skylodge is one of a kind, it cannot have the same facilities as a five star retreat, however a night’s stay is still just as comfortable, and instead of walls it feels as though nothing is between you, the valley and the sky alive with stars.
Dining
Dinner and breakfast is pre-prepared and brought up by your guides in their backpacks. Everything is incredibly well done, down to the cooking of an organic four course meal in the quirky dining pod, to a large breakfast platter in the morning.
