Enjoy the highlights of Southern Africa with Cape Town, Kruger National Park and Victoria Falls

Flying into Cape Town is a magical feeling. Table Mountain looms above the fascinating city that is surrounded by an incredible coastline and gorgeous scenery. After exploring the city and its surrounding areas, you fly up to the Greater Kruger ecosystem for a 'big 5' safari experience in one of the conservancies that surround the National Park. You then fly from the Kruger region directly to Victoria Falls, which, in our opinion, is the most spectacular natural wonder on the planet. Whether you want to stroll in the rainforest that surrounds the Falls or take on whitewater rafting down the rapids that form its gorge, you are certain to love your experience.

What's Included:

Day 5 - On safari

A typical day on safari will include an early morning game drive, a picnic breakfast in the bush, relaxing by the pool before a lovely lunch and then an afternoon safari activity. The early morning drives are brilliant for trying to see the big cats in action, and it's fantastic for photographers. The Greater Kruger region is renowned for incredible leopard sightings and has a healthy population of rhinos along with wild dogs, lions, elephant and hundreds of other species.

Day 6 - On safari

Enjoy your final day on safari. The lodges have been chosen with you in mind and we know that it is just as important to relax by the pool or on your private deck overlooking the bush as being out on game drives or bush walks. As with the whole of the country, the food and wine are of the highest standards and you will be treated to top-class service throughout your stay.

This morning you will enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge before making your way back to the airport and boarding the short flight to Livingstone on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. You will be transferred by a lodge representative to your lodge on the mighty Zambezi River in time for a late lunch. The welcome party tends to be dominated by the grunting of hippos in the river, and your fantastic accommodation, set upstream of the Falls, is the perfect base camp for exploring the area.

Day 8 - Exploring Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls is a true bucket list destination. The mighty Zambezi River plummets 100m down into a series of mighty gorges. This is a geological masterpiece and a sign of what nature is capable of producing. The falls are named 'the smoke that thunders' by the Tonga tribe due to the spray that is produced from such a huge amount of water and flanked by a lush rainforest, as well as some brilliant national parks. Wildlife is abundant in the area; expect to see raptors soaring above the gorges, hippos, elephants, and crocodiles in the river and, if you're really lucky clawless otters on the riverbanks.

Bungee jumping, whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing, and many more water-based activities are possible. However, this is not just an adrenaline junkie's playground, and you can happily spend your days at a slower pace with lovely nature trails through the rainforest that surround the mighty waterfall, tranquil sundowner boat trips, or simply relaxing at the lodge.
