Luxury Chile Holidays
Chile: Deserts, fjords, and starry skies
Chile runs like a ribbon of extremes. In Northern Chile, salt flats, geysers, and clear night skies frame the Atacama. Central valleys mix Pacific light with vineyards and culture. Far south, Chilean Patagonia offers granite towers, glaciers, and wind-brushed steppe. Easter Island stands apart with moai, ocean horizons, and Polynesian roots. Evenings bring good food, fine wines, and unhurried conversation.

Where to go in Chile
Seek geysers, salt flats, and astronomy in Northern Chile. Explore coastal towns, markets, and vineyards in Central Chile. Trek past turquoise lakes and ice fields in Chilean Patagonia. Fly to Easter Island for moai sites, volcanic cones, and stories carried on ocean winds.
Central Chile
Central Chile’s Santiago capital is bright, bustling and bursting with culture, and nearby are the Andes and the colourful town of Valparaiso.
Central Chile serves as the country’s diverse heartland, where the snow-capped Andes tumble down into fertile vineyards and crash against the Pacific coast. Anchored by the cosmopolitan capital of Santiago, this region offers a seamless blend of urban culture and rural tranquility.
Wine lovers can explore the world-renowned Maipo and Colchagua Valleys, indulging in private tastings at avant-garde wineries that define the local landscape. Just a short drive away, the UNESCO-listed port of Valparaíso captivates with its bohemian street art and hillside funiculars. Whether skiing in the mountains or relaxing at a boutique wine lodge, this central corridor delivers a polished and sensory-rich experience that perfectly captures the Chilean soul.
Chilean Patagonia
Chilean Patagonia spans over 1,000 miles and covers everything from the province of Llanquihue to Chilean Antarctica, taking in the Magallanes in between.
Stretching from the volcanic Lake District to the glaciated southern fjords, Chilean Patagonia offers a diverse wilderness experience distinct from the arid Argentine steppe. This is a land of temperate rainforests and emerald lakes, where the rich heritage of the indigenous Mapuche people adds a profound cultural layer to the landscape.
Guests can traverse the scenic Route of Parks, ride with local baqueanos through ancient araucaria forests, or navigate the complex maze of fjords by private expedition boat. Home to pioneering conservation projects and exclusive architect-designed lodges, this region invites a slow, immersive journey through one of the planet's last great frontiers, ensuring absolute comfort amidst the wild elements.
Easter Island
Visit Eastern Island to see the incredible and iconic Moai statues, ceremonial villages, pristinely preserved beaches and extraordinary wildlife.
Known locally as Rapa Nui, Easter Island stands as the world's most isolated inhabited island, a mystical open-air museum defined by the enigmatic gaze of nearly 1,000 moai statues. This grassy, volcanic triangle invites travelers to explore the Rano Raraku quarry, where these stone giants were carved, or gaze into the dramatic crater lake of Rano Kau.
The experience here goes beyond archaeology to embrace a vibrant living Polynesian culture. Guests can explore the island's rugged coastlines and pink sand beaches on private guided hikes or horseback rides. Resting in architectural eco-lodges that blend into the landscape, visitors enjoy exceptional comfort while uncovering the secrets of a civilization that thrived in solitude.
Northern Chile
From the magical Atacama Desert to the magnificent Andes Mountains, Northern Chile offers diverse experiences for exploration and adventure.
Northern Chile is defined by the stark, otherworldly beauty of the Atacama Desert. As the driest non-polar desert on Earth, this high-altitude region offers a landscape of rusty-red canyons, steaming geysers at El Tatio, and vast white salt flats inhabited by flocks of pink flamingos.
The adobe village of San Pedro de Atacama serves as a charming base for exploring the lunar terrain of the Valle de la Luna. Renowned as a premier global destination for astronomy, the crystal-clear night skies here offer a mesmerizing celestial show. Guests retreat to architecturally stunning oasis lodges that blend indigenous design with modern luxury, ensuring a comfortable sanctuary in this dramatic wilderness.
