The newly re-built Kwara Camp (which opened in September 2019) will be larger and more luxurious than the original camp. It will feature nine spacious canvas tents with comfortable twin or double beds surrounded by mosquito nets. Each tent will be decorated in the authentic African style of Kwando Safaris. All tents will have an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers and a gorgeous bath offering phenomenal views of the floodplains! The tents will also feature a large wooden deck where guests can sit and gaze out over the surrounding plains and lagoon with its resident hippos.
The main area will be located in the centre of the camp and will feature a dining area, a lounge and a gift shop. There will also be two small pool areas at each end of the camp offering guests more private lounge areas. At each poolside, there will be a bar and sun loungers where guests can relax in-between safari activities.
Please note that the minimum age at Kwara Camp is 18 years, and there are no family rooms. If you’re a family and you’re looking to include the Kwara Reserve in your Botswana itinerary, we recommend Splash Camp.
