From Bangkok we head to the historical city of Ayutthaya where we explore the ancient temples and palace ruins, and then we head to the central plains of Thailand to Sukhothai where we have an opportunity to cycle around the ruins and surrounding countryside. 

In Chiang Mai we stay at Lisu Lodge which is run by Lisu hill tribe villagers and here your family can enjoy activities such as trekking, rafting, and cycling, a Thai cooking class or you can learn about Lisu hill tribe culture and get an insight into Thai rural life during a village tour.  

From Chiang Mai we return to Bangkok where this family holiday ends, or you may wish to continue your Thailand adventure and head south where you can explore the jungles, remote waterfalls, secret caves and hot springs of Khao Sok National Park, and the gorgeous white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters of Krabi on the west coast or the palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and mountainous rainforests of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand.
