Bora Bora Luxury Holidays

Plan My Trip

Discover sleek beach resorts, volcanic panoramas and pastel sunsets on a trip to Bora Bora, the “Pearl of the Pacific”.

Bora Bora is dark, but you can see the Milkyway sparkling across the sky. Make sure you look for the stars in Bora Bora.

Bora Bora is one of the smaller atolls of French Polynesia, lying 230 kilometres northwest of Tahiti, but is perhaps the most iconic. A postcard-perfect paradise awaits you on a trip to Bora Bora. The tumbling emerald hillsides of its main island and its surrounding coral reefs stay forever etched in your mind.

Bora Bora’s glossy coastline is renowned for being pristine, its west side embodying a sweeping lagoon teeming with life. Its beaches are world-famous, accommodating thrilling water sports and morning sun-soaking. Swim alongside sharks and sting rays before drying off with a cosmo beneath the beating South Pacific sun.

More than just a beach paradise, Bora Bora centres on an imposing dormant volcano named Mount Otemanu. Awe-inspiring hiking opportunities await you, bringing alluring panoramas of the island’s twinkling ocean surroundings. Scenic walks along Bora Bora’s hillsides marry perfectly with its charming tourist attractions, which embody the island’s impressive cultural diversity. You uncover an ideal balance of discovery and relaxation during a trip to Bora Bora island.

When to go to Bora Bora

The general consensus is that May through October is the best time to visit Bora Bora, bringing cerulean skies and plenty of sunshine, perfect for outdoor adventures and beach days. The low season is between December and March, bringing fewer tourists, meaning a more exclusive and peaceful Bora Bora island package, but paired with heavy rain and high humidity. You are more likely to avoid rain, wind and cloudiness visiting Bora Bora during its shoulder season in either April/May or November.
