This multi-centred and extremely exclusive itinerary is a unique way to see Namibia. You will be flying from camp to camp and staying in some of Africa's most remote luxury properties. You begin by flying into a private reserve within the Namib Desert with exclusive access to the most sought after part of the dunes.

Next stop will be Walvis Bay where you stay at Pelican Point, a beautifully restored lighthouse. The moon-like landscape and desert-adapted wildlife surrounding Hoanib Skeleton Coast camp follows, before finishing with a stay at the phenomenal Serra Cafema Camp in the untouched north of the country.

Trip Itinerary

Days 1-2: Kulala

Day 1 - Windhoek > Kulala Wilderness Reserve

On arrival to Windhoek you will collect your luggage and meet our ground representative before connecting onto a light aircraft flight to Kulala. Kulala is in the middle of the Namib Desert, a private reserve and the most exclusive place to stay in this popular destination. You will have the best access to the dunes at the best times, private sunrises over Sossusvlei and fantastic guides for your activities.

Day 2 - Activities in Kulala

Activities are varied and you can do as much or as little as you want whilst staying here. There is a lovely pool at the lodge and superb accomodation so relaxing in the sun with lovely food and wine is by no means a bad option! Dune boarding, guided nature walks, hot air balloon rides, sunrise treks, star gazing and visiting the regions top sites are all possible from the lodge.

Days 3-4: Walvis Bay

This morning you can either get up for the sunrise or enjoy a bit of a lie in and a hearty breakfast before your flight North to Swakopmund. You land into Swakopmund and are transferred to Walvis Bay to your stunning lodge, Pelican Point. Located on the end of a private peninsula with seals, falmingos, dolphins and, of course, pelicans for neighbours it is an amazing restored lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 4 - Enjoy Walvis Bay

Activities around Walvis Bay and Swakopmund are extremely varied from scenic flights down the coast to kayaking with seals in the bay to 4x4 dune excursions – something for everybody can certainly be found. A relaxing walk down the beach and enjoying some sunset drinks at the lodge is also a great way to finish off a busy day.

Days 5-6: Hoanib

This morning you will enjoy breakfast before being transferred back to Swakopmund and catching a flight up to the incredible Hoanib Skeleton Coast lodge. Your accomodation is located in a valley with lunar like landscape surrounding the beautifully designed tents. Expect the same impeccable service and great food and wine plus a host of unique activities.

Day 6 - Exploring Hoanib and surrounds

Activities include game drives to see desert adapted elephants, tracking the largest free roaming black rhino population, guided walks, trips to the famous Skeleton Coast and meeting researchers who are fighting for the protection of the regions endangered desert adapted lions and hyenas.

Days 7-8: Serra Cafema

This morning you will fly North again to the extremely remote Serra Cafema camp. Located on the banks of the Kunene River on the Northern border of the country this is one of the most secluded camps on the continent.

Day 8 - Activities at Serra Cafema

Whilst enjoying the same top standards in service and accomodation there are some brilliant activities to enjoy at your final destination. A must is a visit to see the Himba tribe. One of the planets last true nomadic communities left it is a cultural experience like no other. Quad biking, nature walks, star gazing, and boat trips are also possible.

Day 9: Fly home

Following breakfast at the lodge, your itinerary finishes with a final light aircraft flight back to Windhoek in time for your international flight home.
