The Lodge

This property oozes luxury, with skilled interior design and craftmanship enhancing the natural earthy tones to compliment your surroundings to gastronomic food experiences and one of the best wine cellars around – Matetsi is perfect for the beginning or end of any itinerary.

With 18 suites and one private house you may think it would feel crowded, however the property is split in to east and west and the private villa separately, with 9 rooms at each, all with their own full complement of staff you feel a personalised and attentive service. You enjoy plush rooms with comfy queen sized beds and large verandas all with sweeping views of the river out front. Each room has private plunge pools on the deck, if you’re feeling more social try out the 25m infinity pool at the main area. There is also an on-site gym and spa, as well as lovely curio shop.

Facilities

Being set on its own private game reserve allows access to a wide variety of safari activities both on river and off all included within your stay. Just a short drive upstream from Victoria Falls activities to explore further can all be organised by the lodge.
