The Camp

Every luxury tent has a very similar layout except for the two family units which offer connecting rooms to allow for privacy and safety to move around within the larger tents. You will enjoy your own private deck complete with hammock and seating area under the trees, not to mention the gorgeous outdoor bathtubs allowing for a indulgent soak under the stars! The furnishing is all high quality, there is power in all the rooms and hair dryers can be borrowed on request.

The main open-air lounge is designed for comfort in the heat of the day as well as relaxing in the evenings, this is where you will find a Wi-Fi connection. There is a great split-level deck complete with a lovely swimming pool which then leads down to the beach. Enjoy cooling off in the pool during your afternoons, or head down to the fire side in the evening to swap stories of your adventures with fellow travellers. The bar is fully stocked and set to one side to make the most of the breeze and shade throughout the day.

A good amount of activities are on offer from this camp, with fishing, boating and cruises being a great draw to this area. Head out on vehicle or walking safaris or better yet some rhino tracking to complete the day! Enjoy the plunge pool and the shady bar in the heat of the day.

It’s captain style communal dining whilst at Changa, with fresh local produce making for delicious meals. Food is simple and designed to hit the spot any time of day – all dietary needs can be met if the camp is informed in advance. They often try to do a meal down on the beach by the fire and all lit by candlelight – a brilliant experience!
