Room type – Siankaba has 7 guest tree suites – which are tented en-sute chalets which are situated on the smaller of the islands, around 2 – 3 meters off the ground between the trees overlooking the mighty Zambezi River. The accommodation is very private, romantic, and intimate. The chalets boast a colonial décor feel, built from teak and canvas and each have a private viewing deck and a large comfortable bed. Each bathroom has a large bath and separate shower. The 7th suite chalet is located a little further away. This is the honeymoon Suite and offers extra privacy and a few little extras to make it just that little extra special. It has its own dining area. Mini bar, library and games, sun loungers and garden decking.
The lodge has a full-service spa as well as pool available for guests. You can also find something special at the gift shop or hop onto some bicycles for a ride around the islands. The lodge was awarded the Environmental Certificate by the Environmental Council of Zambia in 2002. A suspension bridge links the two islands and leads to an overhead walkway in the tree canopy that connects the elevated chalets to the lodge's restaurant. The walkway protects the islands' delicate riverine environment. The lodge was constructed using mostly commercially grown, non indigenous pine. Electricity is drawn from the Victoria Falls hydroelectric plant, and river water is recycled and treated on-site for use in the camp.
