The design of this contemporary new-build hotel takes inspiration from the traditional tea planter's bungalows that were built in this area during the colonial era, and the open-air living spaces and the modern yet cosy decor enhances the peaceful setting.

Camelia Hills has an intimate and homely atmosphere - you can enjoy the panoramic views from the open-plan living and dining area and cosy up in front of the double-sided fireplace during the cooler evenings (blankets are provided for chilly evenings).

With just five bedrooms Camellia Hills offers guests an experience akin to staying in a private house rather than a conventional hotel (note: rooms are booked on an individually, however the entire bungalow can be booked on an exclusive basis which is a perfect option for groups or families).

From the hotel you can discover the surrounding tea plantations either independently or with a local guide, learn about Sri Lanka’s hill-dwelling leopards at a local research station, or explore the Peak Wilderness Sanctuary and climb Adam’s Peak.
