Londolozi Tree Camp in the central Sabi Sand Reserve is built within the magnificent Jackalberry and Leadwood Trees, overlooking the Sand River. This elegant property is synonymous with exclusivity, attentive service and excellent game viewing.

Tree Camp’s 6 luxury suites offer sophisticated spaces, well-finished accommodations and private decks with pools from which to enjoy the bush views. Built off the ground and under thatch, the appealing main lodge features comfortable lounges, shaded decks and a central pool.

Sumptuous meals are served in style and in the evenings, the lanterns throw a romantic glow over the occasion. Between game drives perhaps enjoy a nature walk, or take a yoga class at Founder’s Camp.

The Camp

Londolozi Tree Camp offers an exclusive stay in just six thatched suites. Each offers your own private plunge pool, outdoor shower and gorgeous deck to enjoy the view. Your bedroom offers a king-size bed or twin beds, draped in mosquito netting and air-conditioning. Each suite offers a sperate lounge area with comfortable furniture in a monochrome colour scheme. One suite does offer accessible accommodation.

Tree Camp’s lounge, dining area, and bar are housed in another timber-and-thatch structure that also sits aloft stilts, amongst beautiful leadwood trees. All spaces are every inch as sophisticated as the guest suites, featuring the same sumptuous palette. The dining area contains chic individual tables flanked by upright chairs, and it’s conveniently close to the camp’s well-stocked bar. Guests can also dine on the deck, enjoying amazing views over the Sand river.

There’s also a very inviting main swimming pool! And visitors have access to several of the communal facilities at neighbouring Varty Camp – the fitness centre, Healing House spa, boutique, Cubs Den kids club, and photographic studio.

Dining 

The food at Londolozi Tree Camp is always an absolute highlight. Being Relais & Châteaux members they are held to a very high standard and never fail to deliver. All food strives to be organic, free-range and home made creating delicious and healthy meals. You can choose between joining the communal dining or having private tables arranged. Where possible Londolozi strives to offer exclusively South Africa produce, from their local vegetables to their renowned wine-cellar.

Activities

You are in one of the best safari areas in South Africa, so enjoy every game drive as you head out with your guide and tracker on open air safari vehicles. In-between game drives there is lots to keep you busy; Bush Walk/Photographic Studio/Village Experience/Massage/Good Work Foundation Community Experience/Inclusive Yoga Class/Boutique Shopping. Or sit back, relax and enjoy your private plunge pool and the delectable cuisine on offer. Summer and winter safari seasons differ your days slightly.
