Hotel B is located in the heart of Barranco, a bohemian revival neighbourhood in Lima. This is the most colourful part of Lima, decorated with murals and complemented by trendy cafes, bars and boutiques. The hotel is just a short amble from the Pacific coastline and the Bridge of Sighs.
Hotel B is a beautifully columned white guesthouse, with open balconies embellished with marble and exotic woods. The Lima teatinas, sky-lights at the top of reaching ceilings give the hotel an airy breathability, taking you outside of the city and within a heavenly sanctuary.
This guesthouse is adorned with opulent interior design, and an artistic feel. Wooden floors and period furniture join forces with modern art. Hotel B is a beautiful, graceful and historic space with artistic sensibilities, aiming to connect travellers and cultures through its private collection of work by contemporary Peruvian and South American artists.
Upon arrival in Hotel B, guests are offered complimentary champagne, a luxury beginning to your stay that is continued throughout. Breakfast is served in the elegant library, consisting of a generous spread of pastries, cakes, cured meats and cheese with fruit, fresh coffee and eggs to order. As for lunch and dinner, guests can either choose the casual bar or formal restaurant where chef Oscar Velarde has created a menu that taps into the trends of the Peruvian food scene.
The rooftop terrace at Hotel B provides gorgeous views over the neighbourhood and the Pacific. So, relaxing here comes naturally and the building’s architecture lends itself well to a soothing and stylish atmosphere.
Hotel B is a Belle Epoque mansion of 20 rooms. Each of the rooms of the guesthouse are elegantly decorated, and the character of this historical building is preserved and highlighted throughout. There are three different room types: the Alcoba is the standard double with big beds and down duvets, a huge window overlooking San Martin; the Aposento is the junior suite that leads out onto the inner patio of the historic mansion; and the Atelier is the premium suite with a private terrace or foyer, with stand alone bathtubs or rain showers and twin vanity basins.
Enjoy the roof terrace in Hotel B, a sunny spot with comfy chairs overlooking the ocean and the Barranco district. Chill out with cocktails and tapas all day long, and the luxury of having a Terrace Butler offering up the exclusive specials on the terrace menu. All rooms have either rain showers or freestanding bathtubs, where there is no spa in-room massages are available. Indoor lounges are lavishly decorated and the hotel has its own art gallery.
The dining room at Hotel B focuses on Peruvian delicacies and native ingredients, focusing on local and seasonal produce. The menu is sophisticated fusion cuisine combining international favourites with Peruvian food culture.
Rediscover the art of cocktail making, where culture and arts inspired drinks are served in custom made glasses, featuring native ingredients and alluring spirits. Alex Romero, bar manager at Hotel B was awarded the title of Best Bartender in Peru at the SUMMUM Awards in 2018 for his innovative creations and outstanding service. All of our lodges in Peru deeply connect with the communities they are immersed in, and ensure that the tourism we create has a positive effect on the surroundings. Hotel B has recently opened an on site local Deli, supplying and providing local produce and home cooked Peruvian delicacies. This hotel thinks locally, and all artwork showcased is created by artists in the community giving Limeños and South American designers and mordern thinkers autonomy.
