The Property

The property consists of a main house, the Casa Hacienda with 12 spacious guest rooms, each featuring heated floors and expansive windows that look out over the valley hills. For a more luxurious stay, nestled right into the foothills are 24 private Casitas with huge fireplaces and a balcony terrace with spectacular views.

Inkaterra Hacienda features a small swimming pool and Maya Spa; a ten-acre organic farm; a candle lit restaurant and plush bar; supreme views of the valley from panoramic windows; and all eco-friendly supplies. The owner even showcases a collection of pre-Inca dating masks in the restaurant and plenty of Andean textiles in the giftshop.

Dining

The restaurant at Inkaterra Hacienda follows an ‘Earth to Table’ philosophy, and this traditional Andean simplicity is replicated in the beautifully warming surroundings. The entire room is lit by a grand wood-burning fire, wrought-iron chandeliers and tapered candles. The menu is curated from the foods grown in the garden, such as red and black quinoa, corn and various potatoes. Try an alpaca steak garnished with traditional Peruvian goodness, or confit guinea pig - a local speciality.
