Perfect for Families, Couples & Honeymooners
"Zilwa" means Islander in Creole and the design and atmosphere of the resort aims to make you feel at home and connected to the diverse culture and traditions of Mauritius.
Located overlooking endless sandy beaches on the north coast, the hotel has a stunning outlook of five perfect islands, including their own private islands- Ti Zil and Gran Zil. Guests are welcome to explore these islands and they can be reached in just a few minutes by boat or perhaps venture to the idyllic shores by paddle board, kayak or pedal boat. Enjoy the solitude and romance and fresh fish on a beach BBQ, for families a treasure hunt can be organised across the island.
At the resort itself there is plenty to keep you occupied. Guests are encouraged to sample each of the five restaurants; “Karay”, “Slaw”, “Lor Disab”, “Tadka” and “Grand Zil” which reflect the diversity of culture on the island, as they offer a mix of Creole, European, Indian and Asian dishes.
The main hotel bar Siro Kann or the beachside Lor Disab, Pirogue Bar are open to enjoy glorious cocktails from 09:00 and 11:00 to midnight, respectively.
For those looking to keep active the hotel has four swimming pools, gym, beach volleyball court, table-tennis, tennis court and numerous other activities.
On the water there are kayaks, pedal boats, snorkeling, wind surfing, paddle boarding freely available and diving, kitesurfing and catamaran sailing all available at an extra cost.
Zilwa Attitude has 214 rooms in various room types all with a seaside bungalow vibe. They feature fun creole riddles on the walls, locally made furniture and coconut fibre carpets as well as a pair of traditional Dodo flip flops which are the worn by local Mauritians.
The entry level rooms are the Superior Rooms which all have a beautiful view of the beach, lagoon or garden from the terrace or balcony. The spacious rooms are around 35 metre squared and can accommodate two adults and one child under 12. As with all of the rooms they have WiFi, satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities and air-conditioning.
The 21 Family Rooms are all on the ground floor which open out on a wide furnished terrace, they can accommodate up to two adults and two teenagers. The most lavish room types are the Couple Privilege Suites, which along with stunning views of the Northern Islands just off the coast, the Suites feature a private protected balcony and a Jacuzzi!
In the main area of the hotel along with four swimming pools, five restaurants, two bars and many recreational facilities, Spa Attitude is on hand with eight massage rooms for the ultimate relaxation, or perhaps just a mint tea freshly picked from the herb garden. There is also a "mini club" hosted by “Ayo The Dodo” to keep younger members of the family occupied if needed.
The facilities at this substantial resort include a gym, table-tennis, tennis court, numerous water sports activities, swimming pools, restaurants, bars, a spa, air-conditioning throughout all room types, yoga and bicycle rental.
Dining is available at the five different restaurants, each with a slightly different style. If guests stay on the “All-in-All-out” package then dining is included at Tadka, Slaw, Kot Nou and Karay and for guests staying more than five nights two dinners are included at Lor Disab.
The Attitude hotel group is committed to support the sustainable, ecological, economic and social development of the island of Mauritius.
