Ramathra Fort houses six spacious suites that have each been carefully crafted into the fort to make them seem part of the history. Choose from rooms with a private terrace overlooking the magnificent landscape or ones opening up to a more sociable courtyard.

The six luxury tents are elegant structures sitting along the fort’s rampart walls, enclosed green courtyard. The tents are unconventional against the historical property, but work well to create a magical atmosphere in the fort, and children and adults adore Ramathra Fort.

The property

There are 12 rooms in total at Ramathra Fort, four rooms, two suites and six lofty tents, all with plush interiors, hand-woven rugs, custom-made furnishings and have been built to complement the original fort. The rooms and suites offer unparalleled views of the surrounding valley and have been built with local Karauli stone to keep the accommodations as natural as possible. Both suites have a separate sitting area with a fireplace and private balcony that looks out over Rajasthan and comes complete with a private outdoor tub. The six luxury tents offer maximum comfort and open out to the courtyard lawn.

Ideal for small families and couples, the screened windows, high ceilings and seating areas make for a magical atmosphere, and as the tents are void of electronics, guests will get a chance to read, relax and reconnect. Each tent has an attached bathroom made of stone to guarantee maximum privacy and comfort. The open-air restaurant is also partly covered in a tent, so all guests can experience the beauty of the courtyard. Children are welcome at Ramathra Fort and will enjoy sleeping in the tents, although there are also interconnecting rooms available for families.
