You can switch to another destination or move your travel dates* up to 31 days before you’re due to depart, and we’ll provide you with a travel credit to the value of your original booking.

*Valid for all bookings made on or after 1st April 2020, travel dates may be moved to any date in the future thanks to our lifetime credit offer.

If you need to cancel

If the FCO updates its guidance to advise against all but essential travel to any destination you’re visiting, we’ll give you a full travel credit. You can put your credit toward another Wayfairer trip anywhere in the world. Our cancellation terms have always offered great flexibility and our lifetime deposit scheme has benefitted our clients for many years now. 

Regardless of FCO advice, we’ll refund you at the following levels should you need to cancel your trip:

  • Up to 71 days before you depart — 80% refund
  • 31-70 days before you depart — 60% refund
  • 22-30 days before you depart — 30% refund
  • 15-21 days before you depart — 10% refund
  • < 15 days before you depart — 0% refund

If the cancellation is not for the entire booking (e.g. just one party member) those cancelling may be liable for any single occupancy costs applied to the other members of the original booking. 

Where suppliers (e.g. airlines) allow postponement but not a refund, we will allow deferral and only pass on airline and ground supplier charges where they are applied.

Requests to cancel a booking must be made in writing and signed by the client or emailed directly from the client’s own email account. Wayfairer reserves the right to apply additional administration fees to any refunds due. Refunds will take approximately 6 weeks to process.
